Ms. Fitch is a third-generation Arizona native. She comes from a long line of entrepreneurs. Her grandfather founded successful wholesale and retail businesses. Her father started a retail business and a cattle ranch, both of which are still in operation today. Ms. Fitch learned the foundations of running a successful business working in her parents' businesses. As a result, she not only understands the needs of business clients but also applies entrepreneurial principles to the practice of law.
Ms. Fitch's practice has concentrated on representing real estate developers, general contractors and subcontractors in construction defects litigation and insurance litigation. The nature of construction defects practice not only requires experience and knowledge about construction law but also requires sophistication in addressing the interrelated complex insurance issues. Recognizing that clients are best served by ensuring that all possible insurance coverage is available to cover potential losses and attorney's fees, Ms. Fitch focuses her time on resolving the complex insurance issues that are invariably intertwined with construction litigation while working closely with the attorneys who focus their time and expertise on the underlying construction litigation. Recognizing also that clients are best served by quick resolutions of cases, at the outset of every case she looks for innovative solutions that bring about the client's desired result in an economical and expedient manner.
After graduating from Prescott High School, she attended Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting and then her Juris Doctorate. She began her legal career by arbitrating and trying personal injury cases throughout the State of Arizona. This included representing clients through the appeal process. Her involvement was instrumental in the following reported appellate cases: Conant v. Whitney, 947 P.2d 864; Monthofer Investments v. Allen, 943 P.2d.782; Souza v. Fred Carries Contracts, 955 P.2d 3.
