Righi Hernandez Continues to Grow
While other law firms are shrinking in size Righi Hernandez is experiencing explosive growth in its Phoenix office and has now opened a second office in New Mexico. Within 120 days of opening its doors on October 1, 2009, Righi Hernandez has doubled in size from six lawyers to 12. Rosary Hernandez said: "We are humbled by the overwhelming positive response to our fresh approach. Through word of mouth, clients and lawyers alike are hearing about what we are doing and are genuinely excited about our innovative approach to practicing law."
Kenneth Januszewski is the most recent addition to Righi Hernandez team. Ken is licensed in both Arizona and New Mexico and has been practicing in both jurisdictions. Ken saw the potential at Righi Hernandez to better serve his clients in Arizona and New Mexico in a collegiate environment that embraces the same values he does. Since 1984, Ken has practiced in the area of civil litigation and over the years developed an emphasis in construction defect litigation and public sector law. Ken has handled numerous multimillion dollar cases and that tried Arizona's first construction defect class action case in which his two clients faced a pre-trial demand of over $3 million. After a six-week trial, the verdict against one was $21.000.00 (the other was dismissed via motion practice). Lawyers in his areas of practice often ride the coattails of his innovative motion practice.
Ken comes to Righi Hernandez from Travelers Insurance where, in addition to construction defect litigation, he was on Travelers’ Center of Excellence for Public Sector as a result of defending public entities in Arizona and New Mexico. He filed motions to dismiss a 2000 home putative class action against a public entity in New Mexico faced with a claim of approximately $2,500.00 per home, with damages allegedly continuing for several years. Based on Ken's motion practice, the case was dismissed. In a wrongful death case while defending a City in Arizona, Ken took the lead in successful motion practice which lead to the case's dismissal with prejudice.
Ken has lectured regionally and nationally for Travelers on topics such as construction defect, contractual risk transfer (indemnity), law enforcement issues and Indian law. Ken said: "I am excited to join a firm that cares about client satisfaction and is always looking for innovative solutions to resolve cases."
Recognizing that client satisfaction is paramount, the lawyers of Righi Hernandez go above and beyond and embody the following principles in all that they do:
Innovate: We find creative solutions for our clients.
Involve: We keep our clients informed so that they can make the important decisions.
